JanNoWriMo

Someone finally figured out that January is a much better month to sit on your butt writing a book than November. No last minute gardening, no fishing, no football, no huge family gatherings to cook for, nor gifts to buy.

Hence, JanNoWriMo!

You can pick your own target word count, and best of all, you can continue a previous project. You have until the 15th to sign up.

I'm in! How about you?

  1. Regarding gardening, however, I have come to the conclusion that some of that "winter interest" isn't so interesting. I should probably remove the dead stalks of my daisies. LOL!

  2. Yikes, I don't know if I could come even close to 50,000 words in a month. My goal is one page a day, and sometimes that is difficult depending on the day. 50,000 would be great to hit though--I wonder if I can count the writing I do for work in that goal, haha.

  3. You know David, I'm about two pages a day at the moment. I think it's a question of quality over quantity. But I'm trying to push myself a little.

However, you can pick your own target for JanNoWriMo. If you just want to set a goal of 5,000 words you probably could.

  4. I'm still writing my blogs, but the next six months is revision time.

My goal to revise 5,000 words a week.

I apologize for the word verification. I hate it, but the spammers made me do it.
