Sunday Snapshot

It's time again for a Sunday Snapshot. Post the very last paragraph or several lines of dialogue that you wrote. Or if it's a spoiler, something less revealing.

It doesn't have to be perfect. It doesn't even have to be good. It just has to be yours.

Mine is first draft stuff, so not polished at all. But I did get some writing done last night, which I am very happy about.

When the door closed behind him she waited a minute to be sure he was gone, then squealed with delight and did a little dance. She couldn’t help it. She had imagined every possible way that this could turn out badly, and none of those things had happened. He wasn’t cold or awkward or a Euro-octopus. He was the same great guy she had come to know and love despite an ocean and a cultural divide between them. Not to mention that she was actually staying in a castle.
Thank you, God. Even if it’s only three days. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
